SolidWatts recognised for its massive scale-up potential

November 2023 saw us in Oxford for a taste of Oxford University life. Chosen by the selection committee of Creative Destruction Lab, the potentially massive impact of SolidWatts technology for the electrification of industrial process heat was once again recognised for its contribution towards a net zero future.

Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is a nonprofit organisation that delivers an objectives-based program for massively scalable, seed-stage, science and technology-based companies. Chosen to enter the Climate program, SolidWatts is participating in CDL’s novel approach to enterprising research and innovation. The program facilitates the nurturing of an entrepreneurial mindset through expert opinion, funding opportunities, research analysis, and business development support.

Taking place at the Said Business School within Oxford University, the program puts us in front of an impressive array of very high-achieving individuals. From government advisors to serial entrepreneurs, the quality of interaction and mentoring is at the very highest level.

We are delighted that - once again - the potential climate impact of SolidWatts technology has been recognised by a neutral body of experienced business people. We look forward to participation in the program, gaining ideas, experience, and knowledge, as well as valuable industry connections with CDL’s impressive roster of mentors.
