From over one hundred applications, SolidWatts was one of the very select few startups chosen by Baker Hughes to enter into their energy ideas program for 2023. Baker Hughes is a giant of the energy sector, designing, manufacturing and servicing transformative technologies to help take energy forward. With the pressing necessity for energy transition, Baker Hughes turns to the startup community for new ideas and innovation. This year a rigorous screening, pitching and selection process resulted in just four startups being selected.

The program sees SolidWatts working closely with Baker Hughes subject matter experts as we explore use cases where the application of our high frequency industrial process heating adds value to Baker Hughes products, services and processes. It is already proving to be a valuable insight into large-scale energy production, carbon capture and emerging solutions for net zero initiatives.
