The 4th September 2024 was a big night for SolidWatts. Not only did we enter the Top 100 Swiss Startups ranking, but we were also recognised as a Top 10 Newcomer.

Run by Venturelab since its inception in 2011, the event has grown to become a highly respected benchmark in Switzerland. A jury of 100 leading investors and startup experts selects the 100 most innovative and promising Swiss startups. Each jury member nominates 10 Swiss startups that are less than five years old, awarding ten points for first place down to one point for tenth place. The companies with the most points are included in the TOP 100 Startup Ranking.

Beyond the awards lies a comprehensive range of activities to support TOP 100 startups. This includes the Top 100 Investor Summit, where SolidWatts CEO, Markus Aicheler, was invited to pitch to an audience of more than 60 super-angels, family offices, VC’s and corporate investors.

Underlining the quality of the Top 100 program, previous Top 100 startups have gone on to raise CHF 13.6 billion, create 18,850 jobs and complete 79 exits and 9 IPOs.
