SolidWatts is one of the ten most promising Swiss startups. In recognition of this, we have been chosen by VentureLab to participate in the Cleantech Venture Leaders roadshow this coming November. By being part of the Swiss National Startup Team, SolidWatts (and the nine other startups) will go on a business development and investor roadshow in Munich, Germany. The multi-day roadshow is going to offer prime opportunities to present our solution and to connect with industry experts and investors in a region famous for its commitment to innovation in manufacturing and industry.

SolidWatts earned its place on the team for its innovative approach to industrial process heat. The solid-state radio frequency technology developed by SolidWatts creates a viable alternative to fossil fuels for large-scale, heat-based, manufacturing processes. By enabling the electrification of industrial process heat, SolidWatts is directly contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions whilst also creating process efficiencies.

With solid-state technology we take radio frequency dielectric heating to power levels and efficiencies previously unattainable with triodes and vacuum tubes. This opens up a whole new realm for industry to capitalise on the many advantages of high-efficiency dielectric heating of materials.
